   This product functions exactly how it says it does. I find that I am generally working out my shoulders and upper abs more than a complete ab workout. I bought this to test out, but I think I will stick with other ab exercises and maybe a little bit of the roller to see if my opinion changes. I would give it a 3.5 on effectiveness

   At first I thought "How can this work.. you just zip back and forth with ease???" Well, therein lies the problem.. if you are just zipping back and forth on it, you are not using it right and you will not have the results that it can actually give.
   
   My hubby is 6'4 and in great shape, exercises regularly, lifts weights, etc. He benches 200 & 300 lbs. He did not expect this little wheel to be so much work for him. He is by no means a weakling, but this Ab Wheel definitely takes some strength to use properly. He loves it though. He can "feel the burn" after just a few tries and keeps using it daily getting a few more in, each day.
   
   When he showed me how to use it, I was like this is cake, I'm just rolling back and forth and it took no strength and I felt no difficulty. I WASN'T USING THE PROPER FORM AND MUSCLES! Once he got me to do it right, boy was there a major difference! I can see and feel how this thing works, when used properly. Doing it right is essential. If you are just rolling back and forth, then you are not doing it right and you will not see any results.
   
   It seems sturdy enough and the grips are pretty comfortable. Valeo Dual Ab Wheel

   I've been using a wheel for about ten years. It is an effective workout for your abs. Adding reps to each side in addition to the straight line forward will also work your obliques. I also add a push-up before returning to the start position. I wear gloves to overcome the lack of padding on the grips. The wheel seems much more effective than sit-ups or crunches. Start with a very few number of reps else you will be very sore the next day.

   When i bought this thing i thought that for 10 bucks i would not be able to get much, let me tell you that this wheel is magic. i have not cut my abs but i can feel how they burn every time i use this wheel and not only that, i also feel that my abs muscles have gotten tighter. i can feel my abs cutting up for the first time ever.

   You want core strength? Do L-sits. Can't do L-sits just lift your legs as high as you can. Pace yourself. Sore abs does not mean strong abs. The best workouts can be done with your own body weight not this useless junk the the Fitness community dumps on society.
